Ranchi: The holy festival of Nirjala Ekadashi Puja was celebrated with great joy in Shri Krishna Pranami Mangal Radhika Sadanand Seva Dham Shri Radha Krishna temple in Pundag, run by Shri Krishna Pranami Seva Dham Trust. On this occasion, a grand supernatural decoration of Shri Radha Krishna ji, special worship, Mahaprasad Bhog, Bhajan-Kirtan and collective Maha Aarti were organized.
Shri Raj Shyam ji was duly offered fruits, dry fruits, churma, peda by priest Arvind Pandey and worship and Maha Aarti were done with full rituals and chanting of mantras. Thereafter, in the program of Bhajan Kirtan, women made the devotees dance a lot by giving them the nectar of Amrit Ganga with their melodious and captivating bhajans and made the temple premises devotional. Hundreds of devotees and a large number of women present in the temple prayed to Shri Radha-Krishna with folded hands for the happiness, peace and prosperity of the family and everyone participated in the collective Mahaarati. Thereafter, Mahaprasad was distributed among the devotees.
Trust spokesperson cum media in-charge Sanjay Sarraf said that Nirjala Ekadashi Vrat is a very important fast in Hinduism and fasting and worshipping Shri Hari Vishnu Ji on this day brings relief from all sorrows and the worship and donation done on this day brings happiness, prosperity and salvation in life, the fast of Nirjala Ekadashi is not only important from the religious point of view but it also helps in the mental and spiritual development of a person. On this occasion, Trust's President Dungarmal Agarwal, Vice President Rajendra Prasad Agarwal, Nirmal Jalan, Manoj Chaudhary, Sajjan Padia, Sanjay Sarraf, Pooranmal Sarraf, Shiv Bhagwan Agarwal, Vishal Jalan, Vishnu Soni, Sunil Poddar, Suresh Agarwal, Pawan Poddar, Nandkishore Chaudhary, Girdhari Sarraf, Deepak Sarraf, Shashi, Kanta, Anuradha, Anjali, Tarun, Atul, along with a large number of men and women were present.
