Preparations for Durga Puja at Bakri Bazar Begin; Grand Pandal Construction Launched with *Bhumi Pujan*
Ranchi: Preparations for the 68th Durga Puja, organized by the Bharatiya Yuvak Sangh at Bakri Bazar, have commenced with the *Bhumi Pujan* (ground-breaking ceremony) and *Stambh Pujan* (pillar consecration ceremony). This year, the puja *pandal* will be designed based on the theme of Tamil Nadu's world-famous Brihadisvara Temple (Thanjavur), with construction being carried out by over 150 artisans.
Rahul Agarwal, President of the Sangh, stated that special attention would be paid to the convenience of devotees, ensuring that lakhs of people can visit and seek blessings from the Goddess without any difficulty. Ranchi Mayor Roshni Khalkho, Deputy Mayor Neeraj Kumar, and Ward Councilor Sunil Yadav attended the *Bhumi Pujan* ceremony as chief guests. The Mayor commended the Bharatiya Yuvak Sangh for its efforts in preserving cultural and religious traditions.
During the event, office-bearers and members of the organization welcomed the guests by presenting them with traditional stoles (*angavastram*) and mementos. A large number of Sangh members were present on the occasion.
