Ranchi, September 14: The results of the election for the 21-member executive committee of the Jharkhand Chamber of Commerce have been declared. Team Tulsi Patel won 13 seats, while the rival team secured 8 seats. The third team, P-21, failed to win even a single seat.
A total of 65 candidates contested the election. After the counting was completed, election officers Anchal Kinger and Pawan Sharma announced the results.
The result has strengthened Tulsi Patel’s chances of becoming the next president of the Jharkhand Chamber. Patel himself is among the winning candidates. However, the official announcement of the president is still awaited.
Six Women Candidates Win
Nine women candidates contested the election. Of them, six won their seats. Manish Jain also won the election in his first attempt.
Mukesh Agrawal Gets Highest Votes
Mukesh Agrawal received the highest number of votes, with 1,827 votes. Dr Abhishek Ramadhin stood second with 1,742 votes, followed by Praveen Lohia with 1,725 votes and Tulsi Patel with 1,622 votes.
