Ranchi, September 13, 2026: A meeting of the office-bearers of the Ranchi District Lok Janshakti Party (Ram Vilas) was held on Sunday at the party’s district office at Duke Mansion, Line Tank Road, Ranchi. The meeting was chaired by Ranchi District President Dinesh Soni.
During the meeting, the office-bearers unanimously decided to launch a membership drive across all blocks of Ranchi district. The party will also visit all wards of Ranchi city and appoint ward presidents to strengthen the organisation at the grassroots level.
The meeting also welcomed the appointment of Chatra MLA Janardan Paswan as Jharkhand State President and Pappu Singh as State Principal General Secretary by LJP (Ram Vilas) National President and Union Minister Chirag Paswan.
The district unit also decided to organise a grand welcome for the newly appointed State President Janardan Paswan and Principal General Secretary Pappu Singh. The date of the welcome programme will be announced at the next district meeting.
Those present at the meeting included State Vice-President of the LJP (Ram Vilas) Women’s Cell Manisha Devi, District President Dinesh Soni, Vice-President Tanik Kumar, Principal General Secretary Akash Bharti, General Secretaries Pramod Ekka, Mahesh Paswan and Sandeep Kumar Rai, Secretaries Shravan Kumar and Manish Kumar, Treasurer-cum-Office In-charge Anand Verma, Organisation Ministers Rajesh Kumar Singh and Pratigya Kumar Singh, Advisory Ministers Ravi Ranjan and Ajay Paswan, and other district members.
