Ranchi, September 10, 2026: More than 6.68 lakh applications have been received under the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of the electoral rolls in Jharkhand. According to the SIR bulletin issued by the Office of the Chief Electoral Officer, a total of 6,68,513 applications were received under different categories up to September 9, 2026.
As per the bulletin, a total of 4,06,839 applications have been received through Form-6, including 16,020 applications received on September 9.
Through Form-6A, a total of 74 applications have been received so far, including two applications received on September 9.
A total of 3,740 applications and objections have been received through Form-7. Of these, 759 were received on September 9.
Meanwhile, 2,57,860 applications have been received through Form-8, including 9,707 applications received on September 9.
The last date for submitting claims and objections has been fixed as September 15, 2026. Voters have been urged to submit their claims or objections within the stipulated deadline.
According to the Office of the Chief Electoral Officer, the final electoral roll will be published on October 19, 2026, after completion of the SIR process.
