Ranchi: The Jharkhand Government has announced two days of state mourning on September 6 and 7, 2026, following the untimely demise of Minister Sudivya Kumar.
During the mourning period, the National Flag will be flown at half-mast at all government buildings where it is regularly hoisted. No state functions or official ceremonies will be organised during this period.
The state government has also decided that all state government offices will remain closed on September 7, 2026.
