Community Building Foundation Stone Laid in Hesalong; Open Gyms Inaugurated at Giddi ‘C’, Giddi ‘A’ and Community Park Near General Manager’s Office
Ramgarh, September 17, 2026: Central Coalfields Limited (CCL), Argada Area, has undertaken several initiatives under its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) programme aimed at community development and expansion of public amenities. As part of these efforts, the foundation stone for a community building was laid at Hesalong, while open gym facilities were inaugurated at Giddi ‘C’, Giddi ‘A’ and the community park near the General Manager’s office.
The foundation stone for the community building at Hesalong was jointly laid by Hazaribagh Lok Sabha MP Manish Jaiswal and Mandu MLA Nirmal Mahto alias Tiwari Mahto.
The open gym facilities were inaugurated with the objective of promoting health and fitness among local residents. The facilities at Giddi ‘C’, Giddi ‘A’ and the community park near the General Manager’s office are expected to encourage people in the area to exercise regularly and adopt a healthier lifestyle.
CCL Argada Area General Manager Satyajit Kumar, Staff Officer (Human Resources) Rajiv Kumar, Staff Officer (Civil) Nasir Tauheed, along with other senior CCL officials and local public representatives, were present on the occasion.
The community building will provide local residents with improved facilities for social and community activities. The open gyms will further encourage people to focus on regular exercise and better health.
The initiatives undertaken by CCL Argada Area reflect the company’s commitment towards community development, expansion of public amenities and creation of a healthy and clean environment. CCL continues to work for the overall welfare of communities in and around its operational areas alongside its core mining operations.
