'Jan-Vartalap' (Public Dialogue) Program Launched in Ranchi; SSP Interacts Directly with Citizens
Ranchi: The Ranchi Police launched a 'Jan-Vartalap' (Public Dialogue) program on Friday under the leadership of the Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP). The initiative aims to address issues related to law and order, security, and other significant concerns in the area by establishing direct communication with local citizens, public representatives, and social activists.
As part of the program, a meeting was held with intellectuals, councilors, and social activists from the Sukhdevnagar and Pahadi Mandir areas. During the meeting, police officials listened attentively to local grievances and assured prompt resolution. Instructions were also issued to take strict action against anti-social activities, maintain special surveillance around schools and colleges, and increase regular patrolling.
Detailed discussions also took place regarding the convenience, security, barricading, parking, and traffic arrangements for devotees visiting the Pahadi Mandir during the upcoming month of Sawan. Based on suggestions from locals and the Puja committee, necessary directives were issued to police officials to ensure that devotees face no inconvenience.
The SSP stated that such public dialogue programs would be organized regularly at the police station level as well. This will strengthen trust between the police and the general public and ensure the timely resolution of issues related to social matters and law and order.
