Startup Conclave-2026: MoU Signed Between Amity University and Jharkhand Chamber; Youth to Get a New Platform for Entrepreneurship

Ranchi: In a significant move to boost startups and innovation in Jharkhand, a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed between Amity University Jharkhand and the Federation of Jharkhand Chamber of Commerce and Industries (FJCCI) with the aim of fostering startups, innovation, and entrepreneurship. This agreement was finalized during the 'Startup Conclave-2026' organized by Amity University.

Chief Guest and Chamber President Aditya Malhotra stated, "Every major global company and revolutionary idea begins with a small concept. Events like this provide young people with the opportunity to turn their dreams into reality." He noted that universities today have evolved beyond mere centers of education to become robust foundations for innovation, research, and startup culture.

He remarked that today's youth are transforming from mere job seekers into job creators. Jharkhand is a state rich in natural resources, cultural heritage, and talented youth. If traditional industries are integrated with modern, technology-driven startups, Jharkhand could emerge as a leading startup hub in the country.

Highlighting immense potential in sectors such as agriculture, clean energy, digital technology, logistics, and supply chain, Aditya Malhotra stated that the Jharkhand Chamber is committed to providing mentorship, industry connections, and policy support to the youth by fostering strong coordination between industry, educational institutions, and the government.

Encouraging young entrepreneurs, he said that challenges offer the greatest lessons for success. Young people need to develop solution-oriented innovations, adapt to changing times, and move forward with a spirit of teamwork. He added that events like Startup Conclave-2026 would play a pivotal role in grooming the successful entrepreneurs of the future. Jitendra Kumar Singh, Secretary of the Department of Labour, Employment, Training and Skill Development; Praveen Lohia, Vice President of the Jharkhand Chamber; Rohit Agarwal, General Secretary; Navjot Alang, Joint Secretary; Anil Agarwal, Treasurer; Priyank Bhagat, Chairman of the Skill Development Sub-committee; along with representatives from the industrial sector, educationists, investors, and a large number of students were present on the occasion.
