Ranchi: The 27th three-day Sawan Mahotsav, organized by the Agarwal Sabha Women's Committee at Maharaja Agrasen Bhavan, concluded on a vibrant note. The fair showcased a unique blend of women's creativity, entrepreneurship, and self-reliance. The chief guest at the closing ceremony, Anamika Singh (Doordarshan, Ranchi), praised the Women's Committee's efforts, stating that such events play a crucial role in making women economically empowered, self-reliant, and confident.
Several dignitaries attended the ceremony, including Agarwal Sabha President Manoj Chaudhary, Secretary Nirmal Budhia, and Women's Committee coordinators Rupa Agarwal and Alka Sarawagi.
🛍️ Over 100 Stalls Became the Center of Attraction
At the three-day fair, women entrepreneurs from Ranchi as well as cities like Jaipur, Kolkata, Banaras, Bhagalpur, and Patna exhibited their products. Large crowds of women flocked to shop for designer sarees, salwar-suits, Jaipuri jewelry, imitation jewelry, Rakhis, handicrafts, *puja* (worship) materials, Indo-Western dresses, children's clothing, silver Rakhis, and home décor items.
