Chargesheet filed in court against six in firing case on coal businessman Vipin Mishra

 Ranchi: In the case related to firing on coal businessman Vipin Mishra, resident of Bariatu, the investigation officer, after completing the investigation, has filed a chargesheet against 6 people including shooter Avinash Kumar Thakur with solid evidence in the court of Judicial Magistrate of Civil Court Ranchi, finding the incident correct. The chargesheet includes the names of Vishal Munda, Karan Kumar Oraon, Avinash Kumar Thakur alias Sillu, Shobhit Singh alias Maksudan, Prem Pandey alias Prem Prakash Pandey. Chargesheet has been filed against all of them under 8 different sections of contract murder or murderous attack, conspiracy and Arms Act as a member of organized crime syndicate. Chargesheet was filed in the case 101 days after the incident and 90 days after the arrest of the criminals.

    After the chargesheet was filed, the difficulties of all the accused lodged in jail have increased. The incident was carried out on 7 March 2025. That day he left his residence Green Park at 10.45 am to go to his office at Cheshire Home Road. While going to the office, three unknown bike riders opened fire. After committing the crime, all of them managed to escape from the spot. By forming an SIT and conducting continuous raids, the police succeeded in arresting the criminals on March 18, the 11th day of the incident. The FIR was registered against unknown persons.

Illegal weapons were recovered from the arrested accused:

   The SIT first arrested a criminal. On his information, the police caught shooter Avinash Kumar Thakur and other accused from the guest house located on the eighth floor of Ram Krishna Enclave Apartment in Edalhatu. Two 9 mm Glock loaded pistols, one regular 9 mm pistol and one 7.62 bore pistol and bullets were recovered from the criminals, which were used in the incident.
