Campaign launched against adulteration in food items

 

Ranchi: The Food Safety Department took strict action against adulterators and launched a special investigation campaign. During this, about 16 hotels, restaurants and carts were inspected from Karamtoli to Lagan Sweets. The officials destroyed more than 5 kg of adulterated material on the spot. Notice has been given to the shopkeepers who were selling adulterated food items. Also, a fine will be imposed as per the rules.
