Foundation Laid for Two Major Development Projects in Ranchi; Pond and Shelter Home to Undergo Renovation

In a move aimed at enhancing public amenities within the city, the Ranchi Municipal Corporation launched two significant projects on Sunday. Mayor Roshni Khalkho and the Union Minister of State for Defence—who also serves as the local Member of Parliament—Sanjay Seth, jointly laid the foundation stones for these schemes.
Under these initiatives, the pond located in New Colony, Jagannathpur Basti (Ward No. 37), will undergo renovation. Additionally, the shelter home situated near the Shri Jagannathpur Temple will be reconstructed.
Mayor Roshni Khalkho stated that these projects would provide local residents with a cleaner environment and improved water supply facilities. Furthermore, the reconstruction of the shelter home will ensure the availability of safe accommodation for the needy and destitute.
Deputy Mayor Neeraj Kumar, Ward 37 Councilor Parmeshwar Singh, and several other dignitaries were present at the event.
This initiative by the Municipal Corporation is being hailed as a crucial step toward accelerating the infrastructural development of the city.
