New Delhi : India's star batsman Smriti Mandhana has once again regained the top spot in the ICC Women's ODI batting rankings. In the first ODI against Australia on Sunday, Mandhana scored 58 runs off 63 balls, helping her surpass England captain Nat Sciver-Brunt to reach the number-one spot.
This is Mandhana's fourth time holding the number-one spot in the ODI batting rankings. She first achieved this feat in January 2019 and also became number-one in July 2025, but was later surpassed by Sciver-Brunt. India captain Harmanpreet Kaur is ranked 12th, and Jemimah Rodrigues is ranked 15th.
Australia's Beth Mooney has climbed three places to fifth, while Annabel Sutherland and Phoebe Litchfield are tied for 25th. In the first ODI played in New Chandigarh, Australia achieved India's target of 282 runs with eight wickets and 35 balls to spare. The second ODI of the three-match series will be played on Wednesday.
In the bowling rankings, Australia's Kim Garth is at fourth and Alana King is at fifth place, her career best ranking. India's spinner Sneh Rana, who took 1 wicket in the first ODI, has climbed five places to 16th.
England spinner Sophie Ecclestone is still at number-1 in the ODI bowling rankings. India's Deepti Sharma is at seventh place and she is the only Indian bowler in the top-10.
