BJP Accuses Congress of Double Standards Regarding Student and Youth Issues; Reiterates Demand for CBI Probe

The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) launched a scathing attack on the Congress party and the Jharkhand government over issues concerning alleged irregularities in recruitment exams, paper leaks, and the deaths of candidates during the Excise Constable recruitment physical test. Jharkhand BJP MPs staged a protest outside the Makar Dwar in Delhi against the Congress party's alleged double standards and reiterated their demand for a CBI inquiry into the recruitment scams.
During the protest, BJP State President and Rajya Sabha MP Aditya Sahu alleged that while the Congress remains vocal about student issues in Delhi, it maintains a complete silence regarding alleged irregularities and paper leaks in various examinations in Jharkhand—including the JPSC, JSSC-CGL, and Excise Constable recruitment. He noted that the Congress leadership failed to raise a strong voice even regarding the deaths of candidates during the Excise Constable recruitment physical test.
Aditya Sahu demanded that Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge, Sonia Gandhi, and Rahul Gandhi visit Jharkhand and clarify their stance on issues affecting students and the youth. He stated that if the Congress is genuinely concerned about the future of the youth, it should withdraw its support from the Jharkhand government and demand the resignation of Chief Minister Hemant Sahu.
The BJP State President asserted that a CBI inquiry should be conducted into all controversial recruitment examinations held in Jharkhand over the past six years to ensure impartial action against the guilty. He alleged that attempts are being made to suppress the matters through CID investigations and maintained that the CBI is the only appropriate agency for a fair probe.
During the protest, BJP MPs raised slogans against the Congress and the Jharkhand government, demanding the safeguarding of the youth's future, transparency in recruitment exams, and an impartial investigation into the alleged scams.
