Criminals Rampage in Lohardaga District; Three Major Incidents in a Single Day Spark Panic

Lohardaga: The escalating audacity of criminals in Lohardaga, Jharkhand, has raised serious questions regarding law and order. Within the span of just a few hours, miscreants spread terror across the city by carrying out three major criminal incidents in different localities.

The first incident occurred at *Khatri Jewellers* in Upper Bazar, where an armed criminal entered the shop and pointed a revolver at the proprietor, Sanjay Khatri. Displaying immense courage, Sanjay Khatri confronted the assailant and managed to snatch the revolver away. Rattled by this unexpected turn of events, the criminal fled the scene. Upon receiving information about the incident, the police arrived and initiated an investigation.

Shortly thereafter, criminals targeted a petrol pump in Patratoli. Meanwhile, a shooting incident at the adjacent *Priya Store* shook the entire locality. Shubham Kumar Sahu (son of Sunil Kumar Sahu), the proprietor of Priya Store, was shot dead during the firing. The incident created an atmosphere of panic and fear in the area.

As news of the murder spread, the deceased's family members, friends, and a large number of locals took to the streets. Agitated citizens staged a protest and blocked the road at Powerganj Chowk, demanding the immediate arrest of the criminals, justice for the victim's family, and strengthened security measures in the city.

These three consecutive incidents have caused deep concern among the city's traders and general public. People emphasize the urgent need to curb the emboldened criminals.

Currently, the police are investigating all the incidents and are actively searching for the absconding criminals. Authorities have stated that the accused in all cases will be arrested soon.

Three major incidents in a single day have cast serious doubts on the law and order situation in Lohardaga. All eyes in the district are now fixed on the police's actions and the arrest of the perpetrators.
