State President Prof. Aditya Sahu and senior party leaders pay their last respects
Ranchi, September 20, 2026: A heartfelt tribute was paid to senior Bharatiya Janata Party leader, former Jharkhand minister and prominent voice of the tribal community, Vimla Pradhan, at the BJP State Office in Ranchi following her demise.
Her mortal remains were brought to the BJP State Office, where BJP State President Prof. Aditya Sahu and other senior party leaders paid their last respects. The party flag was draped over her mortal remains and leaders offered floral tributes.
Paying tribute, Prof. Aditya Sahu said that the demise of Vimla Pradhan was an irreparable loss for the Bharatiya Janata Party, the tribal community and society as a whole. He described her as a simple, approachable and warm-hearted person who had established a distinct identity through her work as a legislator and had always remained actively involved in organisational activities.
He said her dedication to the party and her affectionate relationship with workers would always be remembered. He prayed for peace to the departed soul and strength for the bereaved family during this difficult time.
State Organisation General Secretary Karmveer Singh also paid tribute to Vimla Pradhan and described her as a prominent leader of the tribal community. He said she had always given priority to organisational work and that her dedication to the party, active participation and close bond with workers would remain memorable.
A large number of BJP office-bearers, workers and well-wishers also visited the state office to pay their last respects. They remembered her simple personality, public service, dedication and commitment to the organisation, saying that her contribution would continue to inspire party workers.
