Ranchi, September 22, 2026: Jharkhand Chamber President Tulsi Patel has stepped up efforts to address the issues faced by transport operators. Led by Patel, a joint delegation of the Jharkhand Chamber and Ranchi Goods Transport Association visited Transport City and reviewed the facilities and arrangements available there.
During the visit, the delegation discussed the possibilities of providing transport operators with designated and organised spaces in Transport City. The delegation also examined how the available infrastructure could be utilised more effectively to create a permanent arrangement for transport businesses.
Tulsi Patel said that he would soon meet the Chief Secretary of Jharkhand to discuss how suitable space can be provided to transport operators in Transport City and what procedure should be followed for allotment of space. He said the Chamber is coordinating with the concerned departments to find a practical solution to the problems faced by transport operators.
He said that proper and organised facilities at Transport City would provide relief to transport operators and help ensure smoother management of transportation and goods movement activities.
The delegation included Jharkhand Chamber President Tulsi Patel, Vice-President Vikas Vijayvargiya, Joint Secretaries Amit Sharma and Pooja Dhaddha, and Executive Committee members Vinita Singhania and Monica Goenka. Representatives of the Ranchi Goods Transport Association, including Rajkishore Singh, Ravindra Dubey, Uday Singh, Prabhakar Singh, SB Singh, Vinay Singh and Sunil Singh Chauhan, were also present. Jharkhand Progressive Mazdoor Union General Secretary Vikram Singh, along with Ravi Verma and Neeraj Singh, also participated in the delegation.
