Ranchi, September 21, 2026: An awareness rally was organized from Sadar Hospital, Ranchi, on Monday to spread awareness among the public about HIV/AIDS. Doctors, hospital officials, staff members, and ANMTC students participated enthusiastically in the rally.
Dr. Tawa Rizvi, Dr. Sohan, District Programme Manager Praveen Kumar Singh, officials and staff of Sadar Hospital, along with Kanchan, Naveen and other members of the AIDS Control Society, participated in the event.
During the rally, participants spread awareness about HIV/AIDS prevention, safe practices, timely testing, and treatment. Through awareness messages and slogans, they urged people to eliminate misconceptions and discrimination related to HIV and to adopt a supportive and respectful attitude towards people living with HIV.
The main objective of the programme was to provide the community with accurate information about HIV/AIDS and promote awareness. The organizers emphasized that correct information and awareness can help dispel misconceptions and contribute to building a healthier and safer society.
