Ranchi: An environment awareness workshop was organized on the occasion of World Environment Day. In the workshop, a resolution was taken to plant as many trees as possible and reduce the use of plastic with the aim of protecting the environment. Chamber President Paresh Gattani said that we need to start from our home to protect the environment. We should educate our children to plant trees so that the future can be safe.
Along with this, along with stopping single-use plastic and not using it, the Chamber President also appealed to people not to use thermocol which does not melt, does not get destroyed in any way and causes a lot of damage to the environment. Outgoing President Kishore Mantri said that noise pollution is also very dangerous for the environment. This is also an important reason for polluting the environment. People should also pay attention to this and should not spread noise pollution. Everyone should plant at least one tree. Sub-Committee Chairmen Mala Kujur and Manjul Karketta jointly said that to protect the environment, there is a need to plant as many trees as possible and there is also a need to create awareness among people about this. On the occasion of World Environment Day, under the banner of the Chamber, plantation of Jamun and 25 litchi seeds were planted in Shaheed Children Park, Morabadi, Ranchi. Plantation Sub-Committee Chairman Kishan Agarwal said that nature, earth and water can be protected by planting trees, this also increases the amount of oxygen in nature. He also said that one tree is equal to 10 sons. On the occasion of Environment Day, decorated plantation was done in the Chamber building, along with this, fertilizer was applied to the plants and irrigation was also done.
Co-Secretary Navjot Alang said that all the trees that are being cut in the name of road widening, arrangements should be made to shift them. Cutting of trees is unfortunate for the environment. On this occasion, Chamber President Paresh Gattani, Joint Secretary Navjot Alang and Vikas Vijayvargiya, Executive Member Shailesh Aggarwal, Outgoing President Kishore Mantri, Chairman Kishan Aggarwal, Mala Kujur, Manjul Karketta, Anand Jalan, Chief Guest Rathin Bhadra, Punjab National Bank AGM Roshan Kumar, Member Ramesh Sahu, Anima Ba, Lalita Roshni Lakra, Milan Sheetal and other members were present.
