Babulal Marandi is adopting tricks to gain cheap popularity: Vinod Kumar Pandey
Ranchi: Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM) has described the allegations made by Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) state president and Leader of Opposition Babulal Marandi as cheap popularity, in which he has expressed fear of threat to his life and being implicated in a false case by the government. JMM General Secretary and Spokesperson Vinod Kumar Pandey has termed these allegations as ridiculous and termed it as a trick to gain cheap popularity. General Secretary cum Spokesperson Vinod Kumar Pandey described these allegations as baseless and politically motivated. He said that Babulal Marandi has been the first Chief Minister of Jharkhand and is currently handling the responsibility of the Leader of Opposition. He should take care of his dignity and responsibility before making such shallow and baseless allegations. He said that it is clear that he is disappointed and frustrated with the increasing popularity and public welfare policies of the respected Chief Minister of Jharkhand Hemant Soren and his government.
He further said that this attitude of Marandi is against the progress of Jharkhand. When the state government takes strict action against corruption and scams, Marandi gets upset. He starts sending questions to the Anti Corruption Bureau. He should explain how far it is appropriate for a person holding a constitutional post to send questions to an independent investigation agency. This is a direct ploy to put pressure on government officials engaged in impartial investigation. When the government takes steps to implement public welfare projects like RIMS-2 hospital in Ranchi, Marandi ji and the leaders of his party BJP oppose it. This is not the work of the Leader of Opposition. The people of Jharkhand want development, not obstructionist politics.
Mr. Pandey stressed that the government of Chief Minister Hemant Soren is committed to transparent and accountable governance in the interest of the people. Our government has ensured transparency in examinations like JSSP and JPSC and has taken steps to prevent misuse of schemes in rural areas. Marandi ji's allegations are not only ridiculous, but it is an attempt to divert the attention of the public.

Marandi ji's allegations are not only ridiculous, but it is an attempt to divert the attention of the public. Jharkhand Mukti Morcha urges that Marandi ji and his party BJP should play the role of positive opposition and cooperate in the development of the state. The people of Jharkhand do not want political drama, but progress in health, education and infrastructure. The state government has passed the proposal of Sarna Dharma Code and sent it to the central government. Marandi ji should try to get it recognized. The state owes Rs 1.40 lakh crore coal royalty to the central government. He should cooperate with the state government in getting it. The proposal to increase the reservation percentage is under consideration with the central government. He should work positively on these issues. Apart from this, Marandi ji and his party leaders are only engaged in implementing the communal agenda. The people of Jharkhand have rejected their politics of hatred. Respected Marandi should use his energy for public welfare, not in making baseless allegations. The public understands the reality of such allegations very well.
