The objective of DALSA is to provide benefits of schemes to the needy: Rajesh Kumar Sinha

 

Ranchi: On the instructions of JHALSA, District Legal Services Authority, Ranchi organized an awareness program in Purio Panchayat Bhawan of Ratu block on June 2. On this occasion, Deputy LADC, Rajesh Kumar Sinha, PLV Pushpalata Devi, Sunita Kumari, Sujita Kumari, Pritam Sen and Raja Verma were present.

     Rajesh Kumar Sinha gave information about free legal aid among the head of the Panchayat and the villagers. He gave information about free lawyers provided to the poor by DALSA and free lawyers provided to women, children, ST, SC, SC members and prisoners in jail. Apart from this, he shared information about child marriage, child labor, right to education, road accident, Lok Adalat, National Lok Adalat and sponsorship program. Mr. Sinha made the villagers present aware about the rights of the disabled, mentally deranged persons and drug addiction. He also said that orphan children who do not have a home, who are helpless, whose age is below 18 years, are helped by DALSAA. On drug eradication, he said that the youth should stay away from drugs.

     PLV Pushplata Devi gave information about filling forms for old age pension and widow pension. Sunita Devi focused on Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana and job card. Sujita Devi discussed about Lok Adalat and Sujita Devi discussed about Maiya Samman Yojana. PLV Pritam Saxena focused on the dowry system. In the end, PLV also distributed pamphlets and leaflets among the people present.
