Manvil Srivastava, the mastermind of the fraud, is not granted bail, his teacher wife Preeti Saxena also does not get any advance relief

 

Ranchi: The court of the Justice Commissioner of the Civil Court Ranchi has refused to grant bail to Manvil Srivastava, who is in jail in the fraud case. Also, his wife, a teacher of a famous private school, Preeti Saxena, has also been denied advance relief. Both the petitions were heard together. After the hearing, the court rejected the petitions of both. This has come as a big shock to the teacher. She can also be arrested. There is no need to tell what will happen next after going to jail. 
         Accused Manvil Srivastava is in jail since April 24 in a case of Mandar police station case number. He is accused of contacting many people in Saint Anna Convent School, Mandar and cheating them of Rs 14 lakh 27 thousand 969 by giving false assurances. Advocate Rohit Ranjan Prasad had argued on behalf of the petitioner. Contacted the school and assured that his company Gray Stewart Family Foundation LLC, United Kingdom arranges donations to provide good education, home-shelter and vehicles to the needy. These accused presented false and fake documents and lured them to invest money for laptops, two-wheelers, vehicles etc. Then on their assurance, the informant and about 11 victims deposited 14,27,969 in the bank account of the accused in State Bank of India, Axis Bank, ICICI Bank and IndusInd Bank in Ranchi. The accused absconded with the deposited amount. Later the victims came to know that many criminal cases of fraud etc. are going on against these accused in various courts. He has cheated many people including Ranchi of crores of rupees.
