Jharkhand's election team leaves for Delhi, 402 members will participate in IIIDEM workshop
Chief Electoral Officer K. Ravi Kumar held a virtual meeting on Thursday and spoke to the participants attending the workshop and the Deputy Election Officers of the respective districts. He took stock of the preparations of the team and gave all the necessary guidelines.
Mr. Kumar said that on the first day of the workshop on May 19, yoga sessions, dialogue with Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar, role play related to elections and training sessions by national level trainers will be organized for the participants. On May 20, the participants will be taken on a tour of the major institutions of Delhi, for which 9 buses have been arranged. He also informed that accommodation and food arrangements have been made for all the participants at IIIDEM. At the end of the program, the participants will also be provided certificates by IIIDEM.
Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar had praised the work of BLOs and volunteers here during his recent visit to Jharkhand. As per his instructions, the experiences and innovations of Jharkhand will be shared with other states during this workshop, which will be documented and used in training programs across the country.
On the occasion, Deputy Commissioner of Palamu Shashi Ranjan, Deputy Commissioner of Dhanbad Madhavi Mishra, EROs of the respective assembly constituencies, Joint Chief Electoral Officer Subodh Kumar, Deputy Chief Electoral Officer cum Deputy Secretary Dev Das Dutta and other officers and participants attending the workshop were present.
