Madhya Pradesh/Anuppur : The country is celebrating Engineer's Day on Monday. Although, to become an engineer, one has to study heavily, learn the work and gain experience. Every year lakhs of engineers graduate from different places of the country, but there are some people in rural areas who have not studied engineering, but have engineering in their thoughts and mind. Two youths of Anuppur district of Madhya Pradesh, who are working towards making work easier with such Jugaad, have forced the engineers to think. One made a borewell machine and the other made a drone taxi.
Badra resident Ramswaroop Vishwakarma has shown amazing engineering with indigenous Jugaad. He has made a boring machine worth crores for Rs 8 lakh. So far, he has also earned three times the cost. Ramswaroop told that digging a borewell is very expensive. Since this excavation is much beyond the budget of common people, he has made a borewell digging machine. He ordered some of its parts from Gujarat and made the rest himself. Ram Swaroop, who failed in class 10, said that he was working on this scheme since 2015. So far, he has done 200 bores. The borewell machine made with indigenous Jugaad can excavate a 10-inch borewell up to 300 feet. He is currently working on a new scheme as well. He said that the mixer machine used in construction work is available for 30 to 35 lakh rupees. Due to being expensive, it is difficult for the common people to use it. He is making it with indigenous technology.
Hrithik Kumar Gupta, a resident of village Khada, has made a drone taxi at a cost of 5 lakhs, presenting a sample of Jugaad engineering. Hrithik Kumar Gupta is currently working in SECL coal mine. He had taken admission in B.Tech, but had to leave studies in the second year due to compulsion. Hrithik told that he has spent 5 lakh 50 thousand rupees on this project. He has prepared it in 6 months. However, still 5% work is left to be done. It has been successfully tested five times. Hrithik told that he has ordered some of its parts from Kolkata and some from Mumbai. The work of installing safety device is yet to be done. Hrithik told that it can be a solution to the urban transport problem. It can also be used in cheap and accessible transport. It is environment friendly and can also work to advance Make in India technology. With the completion of the work of safety device, it can become safe and reliable for the passengers. Hrithik told that some people in the country are working on it but it is not being sold yet. A one-seater drone taxi is available abroad for Rs 1 crore. If this plan is successful, he will make it available for up to Rs 15 lakh. He will also make a 3-seater. He told that eight motors have been installed in it and each motor can lift a weight of 56 kg.
