Rain likely in most parts of Jharkhand on the 20th September

 

Jharkhand/Ranchi : Light to moderate rain is expected in most parts of Jharkhand on September 20th, the Meteorological Department announced on Friday. According to the department, strong winds with speeds of 30 to 40 kilometers per hour, accompanied by thunderstorms, and lightning are also expected in these areas. A yellow alert has been issued for this.

According to the department, no significant fluctuations in temperatures are expected in the next two days. After this, temperatures are expected to drop by two to three degrees over the next three days.

During the last 24 hours, the highest rainfall in the state was recorded at Ramgarh DVC (26.6 mm). The highest temperature in the state during this period was recorded at 34.1 degrees Celsius in Saraikela, and the lowest at 21 degrees Celsius in Latehar.

On Friday, the weather in Ranchi and surrounding areas remained clear and the sun shone brightly in the morning. The Meteorological Department has predicted light rain in the afternoon.

On Friday, the maximum temperature in Ranchi was recorded at 27 degrees, Jamshedpur at 31.4 degrees, Daltonganj at 31.8 degrees, Bokaro at 31.4 degrees, Chaibasa at 31.2 degrees, Khunti at 28.1 degrees, Lohardaga at 27.6 degrees and Garhwa at 31.7 degrees Celsius.
