On Monday, the newly appointed Civil Surgeon, Dr. Amarendra Prasad, formally assumed office at the Civil Surgeon's office in Ranchi. On this occasion, doctors, officials, and staff members bid an emotional farewell to the outgoing Civil Surgeon, Dr. Prabhat Kumar.
After taking charge, Dr. Amarendra Prasad stated that providing quality, accessible, and improved healthcare services to the general public would be his top priority. He expressed his commitment to effectively implementing all Health Department schemes and working with a spirit of teamwork.
During the farewell ceremony, Dr. Prabhat Kumar expressed his gratitude to all officials and staff for the support he received during his tenure. He noted that the successful implementation of various national health programs in the district was made possible through teamwork and collective effort.
The ceremony was attended by Sadar Hospital Deputy Superintendent Dr. Bimlesh Singh, DRCHO Dr. Asim Manjhi, DTIO Dr. S. Baski, Dr. Prabhavati, as well as district-level officials, medical officers, and staff from the Civil Surgeon's office. Everyone appreciated Dr. Prabhat Kumar's contributions and wished him a bright future, while also welcoming the new Civil Surgeon, Dr. Amarendra Prasad, and wishing him success in his new role.
At the conclusion of the event, District Program Manager Praveen Kumar Singh extended a vote of thanks to all the guests and attendees.
