New Delhi: PM Narendra Modi will visit flood-affected Punjab on September 9. During this, he will talk to the people of the flood-affected area and know about the situation. The Punjab unit of BJP has given this information on the social media platform X.
The party has told in the X post that Prime Minister Narendra Modi is coming to Gurdaspur in Punjab on September 9. He will meet the flood-affected people and farmers directly and share their grief and take steps to help the victims.
Earlier on Thursday, Union Agriculture Minister Shivraj Chauhan visited the flood-affected areas of Amritsar district. He also said that two central teams are also visiting Punjab to assess the flood-affected areas, which will submit their report to the Center.
It is worth mentioning that most of the districts of Punjab are in the grip of floods these days. Due to this, the people of the state are facing huge problems. In view of the extensive damage caused by this, there is a constant demand for central financial help.
