Uttarakhand/Haridwar: Roorkee's Joint Magistrate (JM) Deepak Ramchandra Shet did a surprise inspection of the fair area late Saturday night on complaints of mismanagement in the ongoing Piran Kaliyar annual Urs fair in Uttarakhand.
Joint Magistrate (JM) Deepak Ramchandra Shet, during the inspection, took stock of the control room of CCTV cameras, missing center, swing-circus ground, pond area and hotels. He gave strict instructions to compulsorily display rate lists in hotels, maintain cleanliness and keep the arrangements in order. Meanwhile, when he reached the CCTV control room built in the Dargah office, it was found locked. Later, when he inspected the control room built in the police station, the same situation was found there as well. Seeing the negligence, the JM got furious. He got the keys from the police station's SSI Bablu Chauhan present on the spot and got the lock opened and checked the CCTV cameras. If the control room is found locked, action will be taken against the concerned employees.
On this occasion, Deputy Tehsildar Yusuf Ali, EO Kuldeep Chauhan, SSI Bablu Chauhan, Dargah Supervisor Intekhab Alam, Rao Sikandar Hussain, Rao Sariq Niazi, Ahsan Qureshi, Himanshu, Gaurav etc. were present.
