Uttar Pradesh/Hardoi: District Supply Officer has informed that under National Food Security, free distribution of foodgrains allotted for the month of September, 2025 and distribution of sugar for the quarterly July, August, September, 2025 to Antyodaya cardholders will be done in the month of September, 2025 between 10th September to 25th September 2025. He informed that under Antyodaya Anna Yojana, 14 kg wheat and 21 kg fortified rice (total 35 kg foodgrains) will be distributed per card among Antyodaya cardholders. Distribution of 03 kg sugar per card at the rate of Rs. 18/- per kg for Rs. 54/- will be ensured to Antyodaya ration card holders for the quarterly July, August, September, 2025.
Under the National Food Security Act 2013, 02 kg wheat and 03 kg fortified rice (total 05 kg) will be distributed per unit to the beneficiaries of the eligible household scheme. The facility of portability transaction will be available in the distribution of food grains, uninterrupted distribution of food grains will be ensured from 08.00 am to 12.00 pm and from 02.00 pm to 06.00 pm. The last date for distribution under the said scheme will be 25 September 2025, on which day distribution will be done through mobile OTP verification for consumers who are unable to receive food grains through Aadhaar authentication.
During distribution, all regional food officers / supply inspectors should ensure that all vendors must motivate Antyodaya card holders along with all members to get Ayushman cards made. Also ensure that the employees of the Health Department and Panchayat Department cooperate in the said work.
