Children were made aware about good touch and bad touch

Ramgarh: A special awareness program was organized on Friday under the aegis of Innerwheel Club for the safety and awareness of children. In the program, children of Omkar Mission Orphanage were given information about good touch and bad touch in simple language and interesting ways. During the program, club members Shweta Jain and Nidhi Chaudhary said that it is necessary to explain to children which touch is safe and which is unsafe.

Children were told that if any touch makes them feel uncomfortable or unsafe, it is called bad touch and at such times they should immediately say no, raise their voice loudly and tell a trusted person like parents, teacher or guardian. Children were explained through video stories and interactive activities. This helped them understand the subject easily. On the occasion, club president Namita Shroff said that it is necessary for children to learn self-defense and identification of good and bad touch from a young age. So that they can keep themselves safe in any situation. This will also increase their confidence. On this occasion, the children of Omkar Mission Orphanage presented street plays on patriotic topics like Swadeshi Apnao Videshi Bhagao and Kargil War.

On this occasion, Omkar Mission Orphanage teachers Neetu Negi, Kumari Anita, Geeta Devi, club's Renu Mewar, Janesha Vadera, Megha Bagadia, Neeru Sahni, Anuradha Shroff, Ranju Agarwal, Rajendra Budhwal and others were present.
