Tadasha Mishra Issues Strict Instructions for Crime Control
Ranchi, February 28, 2026: A crime and law and order review meeting was held in the auditorium at Police Headquarters, chaired by Jharkhand's Director General of Police and Inspector General of Police, Tadasha Mishra. The meeting thoroughly reviewed cases of threats, extortion, arson, and vandalism, and directed the immediate arrest of absconding accused, the process of attachment and confiscation, and the announcement of rewards.
She emphasized the need to accelerate the anti-Naxal campaign, widely publicize the surrender policy, strengthen local networks and digital surveillance, and maintain special surveillance of militants released on bail. Instructions were also given to ensure prompt and strict action in cases of robbery, murder, dacoity, rape, POCSO, and cybercrime. Police officers from various regions were present at the meeting.
