Goa Science Centre to Host Month-Long Space Exhibition
Panaji, August 20: The Goa Science Centre will celebrate National Space Day with a month-long exhibition titled “From Ancient Skies to Modern Horizon” from August 21 to September 20.
The exhibition will showcase India’s achievements in space exploration, including ISRO missions, Chandrayaan, Mangalyaan and Gaganyaan. Models of the Vikram lander and Pragyan rover will also be displayed.
A Space Exploration Quiz and a science lecture on India’s space programme will be organised on August 25. The exhibition will be open from 9:30 am to 5:30 pm, with free entry to the exhibition.
National Space Day is observed on August 23 to commemorate the successful Chandrayaan-3 soft landing near the Moon’s south polar region in 2023.
