Motorcycle theft gang busted in Bundu, three arrested
On the instructions of Ranchi's Senior Superintendent of Police, police in the Bundu police station area conducted a major operation and busted a motorcycle theft gang. Acting on a tip-off, two suspects were apprehended with motorcycles during an anti-crime check at Tau Maidan. Upon interrogation, they were identified as Rakesh Ahir (26) and Jeetlal Mahali (35). Nine stolen motorcycles and one tractor were recovered based on their information. Gang associate Bhupesh Mahato was also arrested during the raid, while the search for another accused is ongoing. A case number 18/26 has been registered against the three at Bundu Police Station and they are being remanded to judicial custody.
