National Science Day 2026 Celebrated in a Grand Event at the Ranchi Science Center (JCSTI)
Ranchi, February 28, 2026: National Science Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm at the Ranchi Science Center (JCSTI) under the theme “Women in Science: Catalyzing a Viksit Bharat.” The program was chaired by Raghuvansh Mani, while the inauguration was done by Executive Director Dr. Raj Shekhar Prasad. Speakers described the increasing participation of women in science and research as the foundation for a developed India and encouraged students to pursue fields like data science, AI, and engineering.
The program included a sit-and-draw, mathematics workshop, and open-house science quiz, in which students from Nirmala Convent, MMK High School, Vidya Vikas Public School, and Zila School participated. Prabha Kumari came first in the essay competition. The event was informative and inspiring.
