A joint briefing regarding preparations for the vote count will take place on February 27th
Ranchi, February 25, 2026: Following the instructions of District Election Officer (Municipal Corporation) and Deputy Commissioner, Ranchi, Manjunath Bhajantri, a joint briefing was held at the Vajragruha on Transport Nagar Ring Road, chaired by Deputy Development Commissioner Saurabh Kumar Bhuvania. Detailed guidelines were provided to police officers and magistrates to ensure a peaceful, fair, and transparent vote count for Ranchi Municipal Corporation and Bundu Nagar Panchayat on February 27th. Special emphasis was placed on security arrangements, preventing unauthorized entry, safe handling of ballot boxes, and prompt action in case of emergencies. The administration informed the public that all preparations were complete and appealed to the public not to pay attention to rumors.
