Haridwar: In the Piran Kaliyug police station area of Haridwar district, Kaliyug uncle made his own niece a victim of lust. The minor victim's parents have died and she had come to her uncle's house to live. A case was registered under POCSO Act against the accused Neetu son Surendra resident of village Imli Kheda Haridwar in Piran Kaliyar police station in connection with forcibly having physical relations with his brother-in-law's minor daughter and threatening to kill her if she informed anyone.
The accused had been raping the victim for the last 5-6 months. The SSP took cognizance of this matter and directed for the immediate arrest of the accused. The police arrested the accused from near Haj House in Piran Career within 24 hours of the case being registered.
