Ranchi: Preparations for the election of Anjuman Islamia Ranchi have intensified. Chief Election Coordinator Qamar Siddiqui clarified on Friday that the election will be held completely in accordance with the bylaws and with transparency. Siddiqui was speaking at a press conference of Anjuman Islamia on Friday. He said that conducting a clean election is my priority. Neither fake voters will be included, nor any kind of discrimination will be done.
He said that to prevent fake voting in the election, a voter list will be prepared by appointing a site inspector. Also, applications will be invited from the first week of September to become a voter.
Before the election, voters will be made aware by publicizing through posters in all areas. Siddiqui said that there will be no place for the ruling party or the opposition in the election, the entire process will be fair and transparent.
Suhail Akhtar, Naushad Alam, Mazhar Hussain and Meraj Gaddi have been given the responsibility as co-conveners to complete the election process. More co-conveners will be appointed if required. Apart from this, an advisory board will also be formed soon. He also said that efforts will be made to do spot verification of the members who will apply for new membership.
On this occasion, co-convener Suhail Akhtar said that the area of the Anjuman will also be completely according to the bylaws. Co-conveners Suhail Akhtar, Mohammad Mazhar Hussain, Meraj Gaddi and Naushad Ahmed were present on the occasion along with chief election coordinator Qamar Siddiqui.
