Ranchi: Jharkhand CID has arrested a cyber criminal for cheating of 1.53 crores. The CID team caught Mohammad Asif, a resident of Hapur in Uttar Pradesh. CID said on Monday that cyber criminals contacted the plaintiff through WhatsApp and lured him to invest the amount. They said that soon the money will increase 5-10 times. After this, they sent a link to the victim on WhatsApp and cheated him of a total of Rs 1.53 crores.
