Ranchi: The court will pronounce the order on anticipatory bail plea of four accused, including Hazaribagh's current SP Arvind Kumar Singh, who are chargesheeted in JPSC second civil service scam, on May 20. The petition filed by the accused was heard in the court of CBI's special judge of Civil Court Ranchi.
After the hearing, the court reserved the order. Kumud Kumar, Dr. Shishir Kumar Singh, Vikas Kumar Pandey and Arvind Kumar Singh filed a petition last month pleading for anticipatory bail. On March 7, the court took cognizance of the charge sheet filed against 64 accused including 26 corrupt officers and issued summons. The people on whom the court has taken cognizance also include names of those who are currently handling the district after getting promoted from DSC to SP.
