Chief Minister Hemant Soren Hands Over Appointment Letters to 333 Assistant Teachers and Supervisors

Ranchi: At a grand appointment letter distribution ceremony held at the Jharkhand Secretariat, Chief Minister Hemant Soren handed over appointment letters to newly appointed Intermediate and Graduate-trained Assistant Teachers, as well as Anganwadi Supervisors. During the ceremony, appointment letters were presented to 160 Assistant Teachers for classes 1 to 5, 156 Assistant Teachers for classes 6 to 8, and 17 Anganwadi Supervisors.

The Chief Minister stated that this is not merely a job, but a significant responsibility towards the development of society and the state. He appealed to the newly appointed personnel to act as representatives of the government, ensuring that the benefits of development schemes reach every village and every household; in particular, he urged them to work with complete dedication towards the empowerment of women and children.

The Chief Minister remarked that the state government is continuously striving to strengthen the education system and provide employment to the youth in a transparent manner. He highlighted that over 9,000 youths have been provided employment within the Education Department in the last four months, and over 16,000 youths have secured employment across various sectors over the last two years.

He noted that efforts are underway to bring about fundamental changes in the state's education system through the 'CM School of Excellence' initiative, ensuring that children residing in rural and remote areas also have access to quality education.

Referring to the 'Jharkhand Mukhyamantri Maiyan Samman Yojana' (Jharkhand Chief Minister's Mother's Honor Scheme), the Chief Minister stated that through this scheme, approximately 6 million women across the state are being empowered to become self-reliant by receiving financial assistance. He added that young women who have benefited from this scheme are today attaining high-ranking positions—such as that of a Collector—which is a matter of great pride for the state.

He told the newly appointed teachers that their most critical responsibility would be to nurture and shape the potential of children living in remote and inaccessible regions. "Children are like raw clay; it is the collective responsibility of all of you to mold them and ensure they have a brighter future," the Chief Minister affirmed.

Present on this occasion were the State Finance Minister Radha Krishna Kishore, the Minister for Labor, Employment, and Training Sanjay Prasad Yadav, Chief Secretary Avinash Kumar, along with numerous other senior officials, the newly appointed candidates, and their family members.
