Jharkhand Chamber Participates in National Stakeholders Consultation-2026; Deliberations Held on Investment and Industrial Development
Suggestions Offered on New Industrial and Textile Policies; Chamber Hails MoUs as a Significant Step Towards Jharkhand's Development
A delegation from the Federation of Jharkhand Chamber of Commerce and Industries, led by President Aditya Malhotra, participated in the 'National Stakeholders Consultation-2026' organized by the Jharkhand government in New Delhi. Detailed discussions were held with entrepreneurs, investors, and experts regarding various sectoral policies, including the Jharkhand Industrial and Investment Promotion Policy 2026 (Draft) and the Textile, Apparel, and Footwear Policy 2026.
The Jharkhand Chamber welcomed the various Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) signed in the presence of Chief Minister Hemant Sorken, aimed at boosting investment and accelerating industrial development in the state. The Chamber stated that these agreements would increase investment, create new employment opportunities, and provide a new direction for industries.
Chamber President Aditya Malhotra praised the industrial and textile policies, noting that the Chamber had submitted suggestions to make them even more effective. He expressed his gratitude to the Industries Minister, Industries Secretary, and Director of Industries for incorporating the Chamber's recommendations.
During the event, the delegation met with Urban Development Minister Sudivya Kumar, Industries Minister Sanjay Prasad Yadav, Rural Development Minister Deepika Pandey Singh, and Health Minister Dr. Irfan Ansari to discuss industrial development, investment, ease of doing business, and challenges faced by industries in the state.
The delegation included General Secretary Rohit Agarwal, Joint Secretary Rohit Poddar, Treasurer Anil Agarwal, Regional Vice President Vinay Agarwal, Industry Sub-committee Chairman Binod Kumar Agarwal, and Sub-committee Chairman Niranjan Sharma.
