BJP Launches Major Attack on Hemant Government Over Investment and Employment; Sandeep Verma Demands Accountability for Results, Not Just Promises
How Much Investment Did Jharkhand Attract from Foreign Tours? Government Should Issue a White Paper
Ranchi: The BJP has cornered the state government on the issues of investment, industry, and employment in Jharkhand. State spokesperson Sandeep Verma questioned Chief Minister Hemant Soren, stating that instead of painting grand dreams for the public, the government should provide an account of work actually done on the ground.
He noted that assurances had been given regarding employment for the youth, safety for women, and the establishment of new industries in the state, yet the current situation falls short of expectations. The government should disclose how many major industries have arrived and how many youths have secured permanent employment so far.
Questioning the Chief Minister's foreign trips, Sandeep Verma demanded that full details of the visits undertaken in the name of investment be made public. He insisted the public be informed about the expenditure incurred on these tours and the number of projects that actually materialized in Jharkhand.
He also raised questions regarding the investment meeting held in Delhi and the absence of the Finance Minister, stating that this casts doubt on the government's seriousness.
The BJP spokesperson asserted that the true status of claims regarding AI, IT, startups, tourism, and industrial development must be revealed to the public. Law and order, transparency, and a secure environment are paramount for attracting investment.
Sandeep Verma stated that the people of Jharkhand now desire tangible results in employment and development, not mere announcements. The BJP will continue to demand answers from the government regarding investment, industry, and the future of the youth.
