Prompt action by doctors and excellent medical care—from Dakra to Gandhinagar Hospital—proved lifesaving.
Ranchi: A 22-year-old snakebite victim, Lokesh Kumar, has been given a new lease of life thanks to the promptness of Central Coalfields Limited (CCL) doctors and the company's superior medical facilities.
According to reports, Lokesh Kumar—son of CCL employee Bhuvneshwar Munda—was bitten by a venomous snake. Immediately after the incident, his family rushed him to CCL’s Central Hospital in Dakra. Doctors there initiated treatment without delay, administering the necessary dose of Anti-Snake Venom (ASV) and taking crucial steps to save his life.
Following initial treatment, the young man was referred to Gandhinagar Central Hospital for closer monitoring and specialized care. There, a team of doctors monitored and treated him continuously for two days.
Thanks to timely medical intervention and the doctors' efforts, Lokesh Kumar’s condition improved rapidly. His condition is now reported to be completely stable, and the medical team has decided to discharge him from the hospital.
CCL management stated that the company remains committed to providing excellent medical facilities to employees, their families, and the general public through modern healthcare infrastructure, experienced doctors, and emergency services.
