Shashi Prakash Jha Inspects Site for Proposed All India Institute of Ayurveda in Itki
Major Ayurveda medical center to be built on 40 acres; Mission Director issues necessary directives to officials
Ranchi: Preparations for establishing the proposed All India Institute of Ayurveda (AIIA) have gained momentum as part of efforts to strengthen healthcare services in Jharkhand. On Thursday, Shashi Prakash Jha, Mission Director of the National Health Mission (Jharkhand), visited the Itki block in Ranchi district to inspect the proposed site.
During the inspection, Jha inquired about land selection, availability, and other essential arrangements. He directed officials to finalize the demarcation and measurement of the identified 40-acre plot without delay.
He stated that the establishment of the AIIA would mark a significant milestone for Jharkhand's healthcare sector. It would boost Ayurvedic treatment, education, research, and training, while providing the public with access to modern AYUSH healthcare facilities.
Several officials, including the Itki Circle Officer, Block Development Officer, District Tuberculosis Officer, and District Programme Manager, were present at the site.
