Major action in NEET 'solver gang' case: MBBS student Ashwini Kumar of PMCH suspended

Strict action taken on Health Department's directive; hostel room allotment cancelled; admission could be permanently revoked if allegations are proven

The administration of Patna Medical College and Hospital (PMCH) has taken significant action regarding the alleged 'solver gang' case linked to the NEET examination. The institute has suspended the enrollment of MBBS student Ashwini Kumar with immediate effect. Additionally, his hostel room allotment has been cancelled.

Reports indicate that this action was taken following instructions from the Health Department. The college administration has clarified that the student's enrollment will remain suspended until the investigation into the matter is concluded. If the allegations against Ashwini Kumar are substantiated in the investigation report, his admission could be permanently cancelled.

Ashwini Kumar is accused of being linked to the alleged 'solver gang' active during the NEET exam. According to the allegations, he left the PMCH campus during the examination and traveled to an exam center in Lakhisarai.

The investigation is currently underway, and further action will be taken based on the report from the investigating agencies.
