Jharkhand/Ranchi: Krishna Kumar Poddar (KK Poddar), a prominent businessman from Jharkhand's capital, passed away on Tuesday. He breathed his last while undergoing treatment at a Mumbai hospital. He had been ill for several days.
KK Poddar was one of the leading businessmen in Ranchi, a state capital. He served as the president of the Jharkhand Chamber of Commerce and Industries twice. He leaves behind a large family, including three sons: Basant Poddar, Hemant Poddar, and Shishir Poddar.
KK Poddar's passing has sent shockwaves through the state's business community. His funeral procession will begin on October 1st from his home in Poddar Niketan in Bariatu to Muktidham in Harmu.
