Deputy Commissioner and Superintendent of Police Inspect Various Puja Pandals

 

Jharkhand/Latehar: Deputy Commissioner Utkarsh Gupta and Superintendent of Police Kumar Gaurav inspected various puja pandals in Latehar district on Tuesday. They also reviewed major intersections, law and order, security arrangements, and other necessary arrangements.

During the inspection, they reviewed law and order, crowd control, lighting, drinking water, cleanliness, CCTV cameras, and parking arrangements at the puja pandals. They also provided necessary guidance to the administrative and police officials present to maintain a peaceful and harmonious environment.

During the inspection, the Deputy Commissioner reviewed emergency preparations such as fire fighting, medical facilities, and emergency services. The Deputy Commissioner stated that the convenience and safety of devotees during Durga Puja is the district administration's top priority. The goal is to ensure that all devotees enjoy the festival in a safe and peaceful environment. The district administration is taking all necessary steps to ensure that no inconvenience is caused.

He urged the members of the Puja Committee to coordinate with the administration and celebrate Durga Puja with mutual brotherhood, peace, and harmony.

During the inspection, the Superintendent of Police reviewed the deployment of police force, surveillance systems, and emergency preparedness. He particularly emphasized the effective deployment of CCTV cameras, police pickets, and patrol teams. During the inspection, the Deputy Commissioner and Superintendent of Police issued strict instructions to the concerned officials and police officers to deploy adequate police force and maintain constant surveillance at all Durga Puja pandals and surrounding areas.

Effective traffic management has been implemented to control crowds and avoid traffic jams during the Durga Puja festival. The district administration is fully alert and extensive security arrangements have been made. Any suspicious activity should be reported immediately to the police.

The district administration has appealed to the residents of the district to maintain peace while visiting the Puja pandals, follow traffic rules, and contact the nearest police station or helpline number in case of any emergency. The district administration is fully committed to ensuring that the festival of Durga Puja is celebrated with joy, peace, and security in the district.
