Ranchi, September 18, 2026: The process of receiving claims and objections under the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of electoral rolls in Jharkhand is continuing. According to the SIR bulletin issued by the Office of the Chief Electoral Officer, Jharkhand, a total of 5,59,230 applications have been received through Form-6 as of September 17, 2026. Of these, 5,955 applications were received on September 17 alone.
A total of 96 applications have been received through Form-6A, including two applications received on September 17.
Similarly, 7,029 applications and objections have been received through Form-7, including 202 applications received on September 17.
Under Form-8, which is used for correction and updation of electoral roll details, a total of 3,62,186 applications have been received. Of these, 5,882 applications were received on September 17.
According to the election office, the last date for filing claims and objections has been fixed as September 30, 2026. The final electoral roll is scheduled to be published on October 19, 2026.
The Election Office has urged voters to submit their claims, objections or applications related to the electoral roll within the prescribed period.
