Jharkhand/Ranchi: Heavy rainfall is expected in various districts of Jharkhand on September 24 and 25. The Meteorological Department has issued a yellow alert. Meteorologist Abhishek Anand gave this information on Tuesday.
Abhishek Anand stated that a low-pressure area has formed in the Bay of Bengal, due to which heavy rainfall is expected at various places in several districts of Jharkhand. The Meteorological Department has warned of heavy rainfall in East Singhbhum, West Singhbhum, Simdega, and Saraikela-Kharsawan, as well as the central areas adjoining these districts. Thunderstorms, strong winds of up to 30-40 kilometers per hour, and lightning are also expected in some areas of these districts. The Meteorological Department has issued a yellow alert for these districts.
According to the Meteorological Department, during the last 24 hours, the highest rainfall in the state was recorded at Putki in Dhanbad district at 80.2 mm, while Ranchi recorded 30 mm of rainfall. During the last 24 hours, the highest temperature in the state was recorded at 36.6 degrees in Pakur and the lowest temperature was recorded at 21 degrees Celsius in Latehar.
On Tuesday, the maximum temperature in Ranchi was 30.8 degrees, Jamshedpur 33.2 degrees, Daltonganj 34 degrees, Bokaro 34.1 degrees, Chaibasa 34.2 degrees, Khunti 33.2 degrees, Lohardaga 29.1 degrees, Garhwa 33.1 degrees, Saraikela 32.9 degrees, Godda 34.6 degrees, Latehar 27.6 degrees and Pakur recorded a maximum temperature of 36.6 degrees Celsius.
